July 25 Update

Hey Everyone, Ryan here with a few quick updates.

In last week’s update we reaffirmed our shipping schedule. I’m happy to report that we exceeded our goal by shipping out 578 units (the target was 555)!

Going forward, we remain on track to hit our expected ship dates. About 4,100 units are in the process of being shipped from our fulfillment center and will go out this week, again meeting our current plan. The remainder of the schedule looks on track as well. As a reminder, this is the schedule for those that backed or ordered before April 1, 2018:

Week of 6/18 - 211 units shipped

Week of 6/25 - 338 units shipped

Week of 7/16 - 578 units shipped

Week of 7/23 - Goal: 4,000 units (anticipated: 4,100 units)

Week of 7/30 - 7,000 units

Week of 8/6 - 7,500 units - Kickstarter complete; Indiegogo complete

Week of 8/13 - 7,500 units - WithArsenal.com orders start

Week of 8/20 - 7,500 units

Week of 8/27 - all remaining pre-orders from prior to 4/1/18

As for the software, we released version 0.8.47 last week. This release addressed some camera-specific issues users reported as well as a connectivity issue with T-Mobile and Rogers customers, plus a number of other important bugs. Early feedback has been positive; keep sending us your thoughts on ways to improve the app/experience.

We’re finalizing the next release of the app now and will likely push it to Apple/Android tomorrow (the approval process then takes approximately 1-3 days). This update includes a bunch more camera-specific fixes, improvements to focus stacking (speed, messaging to let you know progress mid-stack, and prevents app crashes when sharing before completed), plus some other improvements/fixes that we’ll document in the release notes.

As we progress through launch we continue to be very focused on logistics, support, and software updates at Arsenal. The team is working incredibly hard with great results, and I am really appreciative of their efforts. The feedback and support we’ve received from our backers has been incredible, and we’re really excited to see what more of you can do #withArsenal.
